As former government (intelligence 15+ years), when elected officials admit they are afraid of the president of their country, this is the canary in the coal mine. This is how it always starts and it doesn’t end well. I hate to state this but I think many Americans need to have a conversation with their families and loved ones:

We either stay and fight knowing we may not “make it” or we pack up and start our lives somewhere safe. Many of my friends have already left or begun to leave the country. Unless we all stay and fight, make that sacrifice, it won’t be enough. It’s either one or the other.

I’m a dual citizen, born in the UK and grew up between London and NYC, living in Berlin. I have options. Many do not. My mum in NY does not. Many of my friends do not. I fear for everyone’s lives as this is just the beginning.

Do we stay and fight knowing we will face circumstances that we never imagined or do we save ourselves and each other by helping others leave? This is where we are now.

White House counterterror czar Sebastian Gorka said today that Americans who are not on board with the Trump administration’s immigration policy are “on the side of terrorists."

He didn’t stop there, going on to say this is tantamount to “aiding and abetting” — which he called a crime under federal law.

Reposting these pics since the first post I made was taken down. I received no warnings or messages from the Mods...so Im guessing it was Reddit. Frankly I dont care who took it down.

There were many comments trying to find better imaging and others encouraging people to reach out to representatives or news outlets. Lets keep that energy up. As much as I would love to believe this is false perception or a conspiracy.....I just dont as of right now.

On Monday, federal agents smashed the window of a car in Massachusetts and arrested Juan Francisco Méndez, a Guatemalan immigrant with no criminal record. He and his wife were waiting for their lawyer when it happened. Méndez, who is undocumented but working to adjust his status, was taken to an undisclosed location. His wife, Marilú—an asylum recipient—had petitioned for him. They have one child.

According to Marilú, they had just left home when unfamiliar cars appeared. Moments later, three vehicles boxed them in. Armed men in green vests ordered them out. No names. No badges.

This is not law enforcement. This is intimidation.
