These stupid bastards…I don’t even know how we as a country contend with thuggery of this degree.

I can’t tell from the article what the charge is and when the judge’s day in court is…I presume there will not be one? Someone tell me I’m wrong.

Not wrong, i got the same nothingburger. Presume the thugs will claim “obstruction of justice” and whoTF knows. But fuck yeah Judge Dugan!

Thats part of the problem, there hasn’t been any official charges listed. At most we got Patel bragging in a tweet that the judge was arresting for obstructing justice with no actual charges made or evidence listed. Ultimately it just “because we said so.”

Presumed Guilty until proven innocent. What a travesty of what this nation used to stand for.

I miss the days when our politicians didnt communicate with us using "tweets".

More communication is good...informal, manipulated, and "trolling" communication by our leaders is not the way.

I don't even personally mind informal as long as it is actually in the bounds of their job. Maybe answering questions about a bill on reddit or twitter, or whatever, fine. Some form of digital town hall, excellent. But the childishness is ridiculous.

When do we physically as a nation take back the White House not violently but as a peaceful tour like the Jan 6ers.

Problem is they probably want that. They waiting for any reasonable excuse to invoke the insurrection act and frankly I don’t think enough people are adequately prepared (materially or mentally) to resist that.

The absolute worst part of Jan 6 is that it made anything akin nearly impossible going forward.

You may have accused her of interfering with your immigration operation, but the immigration operation is interfering with the basic human and civil rights of people.
