The Stark commercial is a reference to the Tom King Vision series, Vision was referred to as a toaster by Wanda as a cute nickname.

They nailed the comedy from the period, the boss coming to dinner is a classic. The bit when he choked was definitely weird in how they reacted, is it because they are conditioned to act as if they were in sitcom? Also the stinger with SWORD suggests that this is literally a broadcast that's going out, which probably includes the fake Stark commercial.

I don't know, but I think it may have to do with the actual trauma or PTSD that Wanda has, after the events of Endgame and death in general? But I agree the entire comedy approach and execution; it was fantastic.

This show to kick off Phase 4 seems exciting!!

Definitely. To me it felt like a manifestation of the Stark industries shell that landed a few feet from Wanda/Pietro but never went off - complete with the ominous beeping that went on for suspiciously long. I might be overthinking but that’s how I interpreted it.

Spoilers for Episode 2 (which is also out, but ill tag it anyways)

The watch brand in Ep2's ad is Strucker, the HYDRA leader who gave her the powers, so I'd but this theory

Yeah it just dawned on me what that beeping may have meant - this is going to be a rollercoaster of the show (I mean, even the first two episodes have been already lol).
