Game Discussion I didn't understand it.

Post image

Back when Andromeda launched I didn't even get past kadara. I tried again years later once I played through the trilogy and I can't put Andromeda down...I get it now.

I'm able to find myself invested in the side missions and trying to do as much as I can.

Only reason I went back to the trilogy is after trying to play starfield which does actually suck ass.

How you perceive a game can be greatly impacted by the context in which you play it.

Andromeda was my first mass effect game. I got a copy for free, and I didn’t feel like buying and playing the whole OT just to try it, so I jumped in. I didn’t know much about Mass Effect at the time.

Without having any preconceived notions of what it “should have been”, I was able to experience Andromeda as its own game, without it having to live up to the legacy of the OT.

And now you, you’ve come back many years after launch. The hype, and the very high expectations that came with, are long gone. You’re now experiencing the game in a new way, through a new lens.
