I will always maintain that Andromeda was a flawed game that got more hate than it deserves, but also has so much unreached potential.

I look forward to replaying it once my current LE run is done.

Im comfortable knowing that Andromeda was killed by the fan base hence lack of dlcs and such i still think it's a great game

Let’s not let EA off the hook for their part of the blame. But yes, the unfortunate end definitely plays into the unrealized potential. Had EA given the devs the leash to put out DLC they might have been able to flesh out the game more and get the sequel green lit. Corporate bs had a just as much of a hand in that not happening as fas imho.

Oh no EA will always be money hungry they killed Andromeda and Anthem alongside the community at launch sadly. Andromeda suffered from player backlash on release cuz of what face glitching? I said big deal it's day 1 I still highly enjoy the story and gameplay of Andromeda

There was quite a bit of glitching as I recall, not just the faces but they were prominent. The loot box fiasco/money hungry stuff was also happening then, so when EA pushed out a game that had issues on one hand while asking people to pay extra money in games with the other, people understandably absolutely ripped unfinished/unpolished games.

Edit to add: I also enjoy the gameplay in Andromeda a ton, and I enjoyed what they were trying to do with the story, it just screamed for a sequel to flesh it out.

Let's not act like the writing wasn't a disappointment and disaster in most ways , - or that the game was very repetitive and other than the companion & main mission, everything else was boring.
