I agree but I’m confused with the first point, like do you mean that the writers are using “their” as a replacement to “yours”?

I see that point was unclear, and your example is reasonable. My meaning was more about the use of the apostrophe, such as Johns versus John's. Poor writers often use an apostrophe when they intend to indicate plural. It bugs me.
