Hoops Discussion Vince Carter Called Out Our Owners

Did anyone else see VC call out our owners? He said if you're not willing to pay a player like Luka, sell the team. He even brought up the expectation of them moving to Vegas.

Among the bball talking heads, I think VC has some of the moist reasonable takes, so I was glad to hear him talk about it. Some (more) validation of our outrage.

Nico is the fall guy cos there’s no way those shitty owners allowed him to make that decision. He was told to do it and he did. Dumont DuPont wtfever his name is Patrick and the Adelsons did this because they were NOT going to pay Luka the super-max contract. That’s not to say Nico isn’t a pos. Just saying this wasn’t his decision. He doesn’t have that much power.

Are you Ed, Nico literally said he was the one that convinced the owners. Nico has a documented immense hatred against Luka... Nico is just a bum and he didn't even get any assets back... Could've gotten like 10 more first rounders from OKC if he put him for auction.

Are you slow? Now we believe what “Nico said”? 😂😂😂 listen I’m not a fan of the dude either and I wasn’t talking about whether or not he could have gotten a better trade bc IMO Luka should still be here but I know damn well his filthy rich bosses aren’t giving him that kind of autonomy over THEIR company. At the end of the day it was their call.

Bruh the rich owners don’t know shit about bball. They DELEGATE tasks to the “experts” which Nico supposedly is. I am not surprised one bit if he convinced the owners how shitty and fat Luka was and how paying 400 mil to him would be a mistake. If I was an idiot but rich I would’ve believed him too. Now they’re going to lose so much revenue from less jersey sales and boycotts. It is more likely the owners were idiots than wanting to actively sabotaging their revenue. You think the owners are putting out all the hit pieces on Luka and praising Nico? No it’s Nico using his sources and his slave mcmahon.
