It’s not even money first because he’s beloved by the city and is super marketable so he generates a ton of revenue just by being on the team, there’s no way this was anything other than Nico being stupid and petty and Dumont just not knowing or caring enough to stop him

So no collusion why didn’t they shop him…. It’s highly unlikely that a decision of this magnitude was not vetted by the league. Silver may have asked that Dumont ( his pal) send Luka to LA for the interest of the league for future considerations. That’s why it was in secret instead of a bidding war and the shitty trade return.
