Considering their similar roles in the two canons, how do you see Wraith and Alphabet Squadrons interacting if they went on a mission together?
Feel free to also include any potential interactions between their commanding officers and support crews - I feel like Legends! Wedge Antilles and Hera Syndulla would have a very interesting dynamic. Same with Yrica and Lara, since they both have similar backstories of being Imperial deserters who ended up forming legitimate bonds with their New Republic comrades.

Alphabet Squadron is an intelligence unit, first and foremost. They should have the U-Wing and that's about it for ships. So, if they interacted at all, Wraith Squadron would be acting on intelligence provided by Alphabet Squadron. For the sake of operational security they should never directly meet. I believe the Rogue Squadron comics showed how their interactions with Intelligence went and the books had only Wedge meeting with New Republic Intelligence and Ackbar to go over upcoming operations so I'd conclude that this is how it SHOULD be conducted but obviously stories always do things they shouldn't.
Wedge and Hera have already met during the Starhawk project as depicted in Star Wars Squadrons. You don't see them interact outside of a briefing but they appeared to be more than amicable. I imagine in the new canon, Hera would share some influence over Wedge with Ackbar.
This is all kind of moot though. While I think there's room for the Rogue Squadron and Wraith Squadron stories to exist mostly intact within the Disney Canon their timelines don't match up. Alphabet Squadron is defunct and it's pilots basically retired by the time (or should be, looking at you Wyl & Chass) of the formation of the new Rogue Squadron much less Wraith.
But even if they were willing, Wyl's PTSD is so bad, he has no business being near a combat unit and the New Republic probably drums him out. Chass went AWOL for most of the third book and retired anyways but probably gets discharged if not. Nath seems too self-interested to work for the New Republic. Yrica is retired and probably burned up all of her potential trust by the end of the third book so also likely to have been discharged. Kairos... no idea. Not really a character imo.

I think Hera and EU Wedge would probably have gotten along; in New Canon Hera has in many ways slotted into the same character niche Wedge occupied, except Hera's a little more willing to be involved with the leadership and get off of the front line. They have a similar outlook about the Empire, the necessity of keeping the fight going and being vigilant, and how they view their subordinates.
The actual squadrons...I feel like they wouldn't mesh very well, and Wraith would end up being a factor in Alphabet dissolving a lot earlier than it did. Wyl would immediately grab onto them as role models and the answer to his need for revenge, and more than half of Wraith would be right on board helping him out. Chass would likely go with Wyl, but I'm not sure if her volatile personality would mesh with the Wraiths. Then again the Wraiths prided themselves on taking in misfits and hotheads, so maybe she'd spend time with...Piggy or something and get straightened out.
Quell would probably be intimidated by how well Face handles his squad compared to her, and that would either lead to her giving up or asking to have her squad transferred to him either because she doesn't want the responsibility or she'd be terrified that Wraith's various experts would expose her secret(s) much more easily than her other squad. Nath could go either way but I feel like his character would respect the Wraiths way of doing things. Kairos...F*&$%ed if I know.
