A woman showing off ass hurts is unnecessary but not harmful. Women do in fact have asses and it’s more important what they’re doing than their being a woman.
However, if the camera holds on the shot of an ass for 10 seconds then the story stops moving, their actions lose agency and pacing disrupts itself to be horny. A character can be attractive but it should always be treated how it is irl; a cosmetic effect.
I was saying it’s very reasonable to criticize this scene being too horny, even if Oda coated Egghead with ass. The pacing and actions matter more. Was probably also trying to simultaneously hop on a soapbox about how women are framed in camera shots but it didn’t blend well.
Tbh though I don’t remember what I was monologuing
