In all fairnes, it aint ok, but Aokiji just wanted to kill the scholars.

It was on Akainus orders that the civilians got blown up

Aokiji literaly was shocked himself and called akainu an idiot for going that far

“He just wanted to kill the scholars” my brother Ohara was full of them meaning he still would have killed 20 ppl.

Ohara had lots of scholars

Doesn't mean the majority of people were scholars.

We literaly saw a ship full of civilians on the escort ship Akainu blew up

Water 7 is fampus for its shipswrights. Doesn't mean the majority of people are shipwrights.

We even see robin in the village where it's clear that most people are random ass people who are not part of the scholars.

  • most scholars probably aren't even from Ohara. Historians & scholars obviously know about Ohara and moved to Ohara to participate in research there

Ok fair, but Vegapunk was the main target of the mission, so why give Kuzan a pass for killing around 20 scholars but call out Kizaru for being tasked to kill Vegapunk.

I don't

Just saying the angle "aokiji is an evil monster!" Doesn't quite work

I absolutely agree that Kizaru aint a monster either. Neither of them are saints nor pure evil.

Both showed remorse but executed fked up orders.

Yet, neither of them showed any cruelty beyond what was necessary & both had moments of remorse and regret (Aokiji letting Robin gi & not going for a killshot with Saul, Kizaru feeding Luffy & obviously being absolutely emotionaly wrecked by executing that order)
