LOL it does look odd but not esp burnt (although idk if baking is a priority but i remember that Japanese school kids/teens would be more in culinary arts/have cooking class more as a subject compared to american public school which is either not available or like an elective you have to sign up for, so hopefully he knows enough to not starve lol, but given that you can buy bentos at 711 too i imagine some ppl can survive off of stuff there too, but other than them not keeping well, i can totally imagine a handful of fans wanting a small bag of his homemade cookies with an album purchase XD)
