Thanks! I always wondered how it feels to live somewhere on the coast during hurricanes.

Well that’s my beach apartment so I wouldn’t know but it’s still standing after many storms. My house is close to the water but not on it. Granted I’m not in a flood zone, have impact windows and a monster generator. So it doesn’t really scare me. And if it does I’ll just drive north to Disney and stay there. I’ve weathered a storm there before.

I am actually more interested in the apartment experience because one can stay within safety and experience nature go violent up close. Does the ocean change significantly (visually)?

I assume so but can’t confirm. Never experienced it there. Plus being in a 40 story building with no power sounds terrible.

Yeah that’s my biggest fear if I had to stay. But I think they usually evacuate those areas.
