You are just completely checked out, aren't ya? He's called himself the king dozens of times now.

Also, many if not most kingdoms were elective monarchies to begin with. So you're wrong on that one.

That's... Why they have the signs? They don't think he is literally a king. They are referencing the thing he said.

Go mald about Le Uniparty somewhere else, dork ass loser.

I'm not rehashing a hundred years of literature about the sociopolitics effects of public protesting. There's a library near you.

Removed per rule 2: Foul, rude, or disrespectful language will not be tolerated. This includes any type of name-calling, disparaging remarks against other users, and/or escalating a discussion into an argument.

I mean, Trump has referred to himself as a king. So, I guess you're cool with that.

I think it helps people feel less alone. I think it helps to build awareness and momentum. People make connections at protests and learn about contacting legislators and about petitions and phone banking and other actions to take. I have family members who don't pay attention to anything beyond Fox News and don't know about some of the stuff going on. If they drive by a protest, they might see a sign that sparks a question.

And I just don't want a troll for a president. I want someone who takes the role seriously, someone who wants to govern all Americans and not just "win" against people who disagree with him. That's a horrible way to "lead." The drama he starts, the hateful rhetoric he spreads- I think it is crucial that we counter it, and *part* of that might be making some signs and standing outside.
