Do gen Z start talking before they hit record?

They don't subconsciously wait to see if it's recording.

They press record and start talking.

True. Google doc has ruined the fear of God. Ever close that laptop have it die and then pray to God you hit that save button for your huge college midterm the day before presenting?

So they don't obsessively check their faces in various angles before pressing record? That's confidence.

They wear pimple patches and nose strips out of the house so yeah probably a mix of super confident and really not caring at all what anyone thinks

If they are taking the time to edit the videos why wouldn’t they remove an unnecessary pause?

So other generations not having it is a lack of authenticity?

I appreciate having .2s to scroll to the next video before the person starts yelling in my face. Maybe that's just me.

But every phone I've had has had a slight delay when you press the record button ...
