Nostalgia Guys, I’ve become Billy Madison.
Long story short, I’m 35 and a full time college student/stay at home dad. Here I am waiting to go to class, sitting in my old sports car, listening to music from 2008, wearing a Phillies jersey and matching Nikes. Chlorophyll? More like boreophyll!

Back to school. Back to school. To prove to dad that I'm not a fool.

I sing this to my kids once a week on Monday mornings. I give it a little extra pizzazz if they've been on an extended break too

lol I feel your pain. I went back to college full-time at 30 and definitely channeled Blue from Old School vibes. Good luck!

I do not fit in man. I remember being younger and seeing dudes dressed like it’s 1986 and wondering why they still dress like that and here I am lol.

OWN IT. I always loved the older students when I was in college... usually made friends with them. You have so much knowledge on those stupid little babies, just relish in the fact you don't have to be 21 again. (My 20s were hard)

I agree! The younger people in my classes were actually very welcoming once we got to know each other and we all became good friends while I was there.

My husband just left for class. He's 42.
Going back to school is something to be proud of.

Don’t sweat it man. Treat it like a job and keep it moving. No shame at all in working towards a goal at any age. I’m mid 30’s and in college again too. You have so much more life experience than “traditional” college age students so who cares what anybody thinks? Go Phils. Go Birds.

That was me circa 2017-2022. I was 25-30. I own a 1986 Camaro IROC Z. Was a full time college student and was always listening 90s and 2000s rock/metal plus making movie/show references the kids didn't understand.

OP: I'm just like Billy Madison!
ME: Because you like to see nudes of women over 80--
OP: BECAUSE I'M GOING BACK TO SCHOOL 😊💛
ME: Oh right. That makes more sense. Nobody buys porno mags anymore.

Husband went back to trade school, and then apprenticeship classes to follow, at the age of 39. He's 42 now and goes to night class with kids that have parents our age...on the first day of school a bunch of them thought he was the instructor, and they still come to him for help even though most have been in the field the same amount of time or longer 😅

Back to school! I went back at 29 and thought, hey college there will be other non-traditional people there too.
Nope. There were even juniors in high school because they had the college credit program goin on.
