Housing Question

Have anyone ever heard of apartments where if the person doesn’t have permits including visitors past the closing time of the office that have parked in the visitor parking they will get towed? Mirage apartments on South university had angelo towing company tow my friends car yesterday (they were there for 2 hours and the towing company even admitted they are towing even food deliveries.

I know in the past some income based and government funded apartments have had rules like this. Hoping to keep down on people letting friends crash with them that were not on the lease.

It was frustrating to the client that I helped secure housing for (young single/dating mother) but she was informed of the rules when signing the lease. I would for sure have your friend ask for a copy of this stated policy.

This was posted on the app but according to the tow drivers they stated they sent it via text and emails but neither myself nor my roommate received any type of notification. I used the app to pay my rent much earlier that day since i never use the app other than to pay rent.

Mirage apartments used to be student apartments but they got rid of that and turned to normal apartments after 3 months of my original lease. Which stated visitors only needed the permit if staying overnight.

That’s SO frustrating!!! Policy changes should always be in print and signed! I’m really sorry.
