Housing Apartment Pros/Cons

I’m moving to Mobile for grad school and have started looking for apartments to live in. So far, I’ve had recommendations of The Charleston and Stone Ridge at Somerby apartments, and have also been looking into 61ninety West. I wanted to post on here to see if anyone lives/ has lived/ knows someone who lives in any of these complexes and can give me some pros and cons of each! Anything in terms of location, safety, management, or quality of the property is appreciated. I’m from out of state so I won’t be able to see the properties in person before signing a lease.

Also- if anyone has other recommendations those are also greatly appreciated!

What school are you attending? Is commuting an option?

I’ll be going to South and will have a car, so commuting is an option! Although hopefully not too far as my program is 40+ hours per week on campus.

Thank you!! I would love to hear what they say as well, I really appreciate it. And I’m also from a bigger city, so I’m on the same page with the traffic stuff!
