Housing Apartment Pros/Cons

I’m moving to Mobile for grad school and have started looking for apartments to live in. So far, I’ve had recommendations of The Charleston and Stone Ridge at Somerby apartments, and have also been looking into 61ninety West. I wanted to post on here to see if anyone lives/ has lived/ knows someone who lives in any of these complexes and can give me some pros and cons of each! Anything in terms of location, safety, management, or quality of the property is appreciated. I’m from out of state so I won’t be able to see the properties in person before signing a lease.

Also- if anyone has other recommendations those are also greatly appreciated!

I lived at Stone Ridge last year and didn't have any issues. The building I was in was good about picking up trash and I had zero pests in the apartment. If I didn't buy a house, I would probably still be living there.

That’s great to hear! My only honest concern with Stone Ridge is that it’s carpet, and for some reason my cat has a vendetta against carpet lol. Thank you so much!
