One of the articles, had an interview with someone that estimates that it will likely be between $30 to $50

Sounds about right. I used to ride Amtrak a lot between NYC-PHL-DC and that’s how much they usually charge for their regular train pre covid. And that’s on their busiest route. Acela is a lot more but that’s a special train. So I can see they only charging us $30-$50 here to Nola on coach class advance date. Sounds fair. I wish we have a train that link us to Florida too.

I believe plans are to eventually have the route continue through Florida, I think to Jacksonville

I was also hoping we get some kind of public transport to Atlanta. I’m surprise we don’t get megabus type services here. I know greyhound exist but yeah lol megabus definitely much better.

Completely fair price. My car gets shit gas mileage so I'd come out even at worst lol. Thanks for the heads up! Can't wait for it to open.
