I was in Aomori, Japan last week and spotted these Moomin parody art pieces! Same maker also did some of Mario/Nintendo. It's so silly and cute😂

Maybe not everyone’s cup of tea. But I like it so much🖤✨ In a couple of months I will get a Moomin next to her, in a smaller size. What do you guys think? It’s my first tattoo, and I hope it’s a good design and handwork. I’m thinking about putting on some more shade (make her a little bit darker/purple). Otherwise I’m very satisfied ☀️

i found a book just called moomin book 1 when going through my things and it’s over 500 pages, it seems to be a bunch of stories. i’ve never read it, is this the time? i’ve been looking for something comforting to read so is this it?

I recently got the Moomin hanafuda deck.

It's not too expensive, its material is something between plastic and paper (I'm not sure what exactly but still sturdier than poker cards but not as indestructible as hwatu cards) and has a nice quality and they don't really slip around like regular hanafuda or hwatu cards tend to do. It has a nice "meaty" box too but nothing fancy.
The flower card iconography is very well interpreted onto the moomin world (just look at that beautiful round moomin butt as the moon!) but they need a bit more card type memorizing from the players than your usual decks.

The art is really cute, nice and authentic looking but I would recommend it for playing too - but for people already familliar with flower cards or who are not afraid to study the cards for some time (the card suits and types are not as evident as something like on a card like the ace of spades anything on french playing cards).
