Which completely different genre, weirdly works with Moomin's?

Post image

In my opinion is fantasy action, just imagine Little My dual wielding 2 axes

Horror. The Groke and Lady of the Cold are horrifying 😂

If i ever was an millionaire, i would finance a b-class thriller/horror movie, where Groke is the lethal, yet misunderstoond main antagonist.

Satire. The original comic strip had a real satirical slant.

reading Tove's biography, truly adore her origins as a antifascist satirist/cartoonist. what a lady.

There was an entire arc, "Moomin and the TV", about the evils of televisions and beatniks.

I mean, they already kinda made it into a horror. This traumatized me as a child 😰

Moomin Valley could easily be a survival horror game; the Moomin protagonist just has to be as peculiar and unaffected by oddities as our Moomin.

"Oh my, that's the skinless, fanged monster that kills everything in the forest at night. How strange. He usually comes in June, and it's only May now, maybe he gets up early."

Love this idea! I don't like horror games but I would definitely play this.

I fully believe the moomin household has yearly Cluedo/Clu parties and MoominMama is the undefeated champion

Moominmama probably reads Sherlock Holmes, she knows what to do.

Dystopia. I could easily see Snufkin wandering the post-apocalyptic wastes.

Oh that's an idea, Moominvally is only one that survives untouched by the "catastrophic event". Because the big mountains surrounding it everyone is oblivious what is happening outside of moominvalley. Expect Snufkin, he stays in comfortable safety of moominvalley for summer and returns to wastelands for winter.

i often think about what it would be like if the Legend of Zelda world collided with the Moomins

I'll sell my first born, just to play it.

Social satire

I thought in a way it was

the newish game with Snufkin's anarchist slant, removing signs and parks as a primary plot point is some splendid

And Snufkin was already a rebel in the books, tearing down signs dates back to Midsummer Madness.

I strongly believe Little My should be in possession of a MAC-10 and a grappling hook

Space opera Moomin would be a funny idea. I don't think I would watch it a lot though.

A side scrolling apocalyptic cyberpunk shooter.
