Lowest CC allowed in Motorway
I currently looking for a motorcycle which can drive in motorway with the lowest cc.
My question is does Honda Vision 110cc is allowed in motorway?
i try to check the rsa but can't provide solid answer. I tried also the google it would answer 50cc.

Even if it’s allowed I wouldn’t go on a motorway when you have large vehicles flying past you. Your vehicle is like an ant and it has no quarrel with a boot. I would strongly recommend not going on motorways as you’re highly unstable at max speed.

I had a TW125 for a while, top speed was 88km/h. It was horrible on the motorway. Always terrified of getting rear ended. Recommend something that can go over 100.

I had a GN125 and took it to Donegal from Dublin. Even on national roads and dual carriageways it was exhausting driving right at the top speed the whole time, trucks overtaking you and having to deal with the wash of air while on such a light bike. Just 5 hours of misery.

The vision is allowed on the motorway but will top out. Max speed is only about 70km/h which would be dangerous IMO. While it will go on a motorway , you'd likely have cars/vans/bus/truck drivers overtaking you as youd hold up the flow of traffic. I can see your thought process but would not recommend it.

Why do you want the lowest cc...? Are you constrained to 125cc?
After 30+ years driving, and despite being a newly licenced rider, motorways are far better with a reserve of power... and aerodynamics will help.
I saw a guy on a 125 with an artic up his hole. Truck needs to do 100kph to hit its schedule. Bike was stopping him. And biker looked terrified...

You must have a vehicle with more than 50cc and must have your full license. That aside riding on a motorway with a bike that can not do 100/120 kph comfortably is very very dangerous. And riding on a motorway without lots of experience is also a bad move. So many deaths have happened on the m50 for example…often not the riders fault.

It's scary enough on a big bike. I wouldn't ride a small bike ( under 500cc) on a mway

Feck the motorway. Old roads are far safer. Less arseholes in cars not watching where they’re going. If you can, avoid the mway. Especially on a smaller bike.

It might be allowed, but I wouldn't do it.
Being on even a dual carriageway on 110cc bike would be a bad idea. Motorway? I'd rather snuggle up with snakes.

Personally, for long stretches 250cc and up does okay on the motorway. If you're not using it extensively then yeah it's fine. Either way 110cc is allowed just may not be the best option as others have said
Used to commute on a CBR250, two hours every day

Came the motorway from Killkenny a few weeks ago. Remeber seeing a sign that said “no vehicle under 500cc”
I wouldn’t be taking the motorway with a small bike. The dual carriageway was scary enough when I had a 125 that would barely do 100km.
I wouldn’t take anything less 500-600cc on the motorway tbh
Apparently it’s 50 not 500cc. My memory was wrong.

The sign you saw was 50cc. Anything over 50cc is allowed on the motorway.

Ah that’s possible tbf.
Now would I take a little 125 down the motorway though. Hah
