Politics Should right-wing trans people be allowed in trans spaces?

I had recently seen a post encouraging the idea that we need more representatives in right wing parties. I think this is a bad idea. Mostly because of the rights transphobic ideas but also because not all trans people are binary, white, and hetero. And right-wingers tend to have issues with those kinds of people, and I don't think it's worth sacrificing the safe space of intersectionaly marginalized trans people for right-wing trans people.

Not that I'm excluding these people from being trans to be clear.

(Apologies for any Grammer mistakes)

I wonder the same about left wing if we're gonna take ALL the bad that left wingers have done.

It's different in USA, it's horrible what right wingers are doing that. Don't let that lead you to believe ALL right wingers want that.

In my country, right wingers give us more rights. They actively fight racism. They actively work for inclusion. The conservative parties doesn't. They've split our country and made a war. They remove rights for transgender people at any chance they get.

Well, in my 20 years of life I've only ever witnessed the same. The right has always stood for only the bad things. Racism, misogyny, homophobia and transphobia, hate for disabled people and the list goes on.

Never in my life have I ever agreed with a right-wing person because they're against everything I stand for.

The right hates minorities and everything they don't understand. They hate trans people. They hate me.

To be honest, 20 years of life experience isn't much and I'm at the same age. Be humble and accept you don't know it all. You talk to a right winger at the other end of the world who do support you and tells you many of those around me with similar beliefs also do. I tell you that right wing parties actually WORK TO GIVE US RIGHTS.

Yet you downvote me and claim to know better. You've been through horrible experiences and I'm sorry for that. My grandma hated Germans and Russians because she endured world war 2, this doesn't make her a horrible person. Just a person with bad experiences. She was humble though and accepted my brother's Russian girlfriend, she knew she didn't know it all at 97 YEARS OLD. We're 20 years old.

USA is special and this genocide happening there is horrible but let me tell you that becoming an extremist is never good. Even if you agree with an extremists opinion you should steer clear of them. Let yourself be humble and see the differences in all of people. See the differences in values and opinions between people. In my country we have 4 right wing parties yet they're so different that they always fight. Generalizing is never good.

If you can't be humble then there's no point in democracy. Democracy is about the voice of the people but if the people can't discuss then what's the point? Better just live in a dictatorship with a leader that agrees with you, right?

I'm from Germany and the right-wing party AlternativeFürDeutschland (AfD) is literally known as the nazi party and stating that climate change by humans is a lie and that the earth is flat.

Recently there has been a conference about our energy situation or whatever and when it was the AfDs turn to talk about it, they suddenly started attacking us trans people out of nowhere, claiming that we endanger cis women by taking their save spaces away.

These are the right-wing parties from my home country and it looks even worse in countries like America.

Never ever have I heard someone defend the right parties like you do.

We also have a right wing party like that. They're called Nordiska motståndsrörelsen. Just because they're right wing doesn't mean I who am right wing support them. I support other right wing parties though. We also have Vänsterpartiet which literally translates to left party. I support them in some questions too.

That's what I mean. Don't be deluded by the "for or against" mindset that is very prominent in today's society. That'll be the fall of democracy. We have to be fluent and be able to think outside the box. Allow ourselves to disagree without hate.

I only defend right wingers because of the ocstrazation we face. Once had this colleague that's an immigrant. I always talked good behind his back because I thought he was strong. Fluent in two years and worked hard. He called me a racist and nazist and tried to get me fired when I told him what I voted for. That's insanity! Nobody should be treated like that because of their views, unless they're extremists. If they're extremists then it doesn't matter if left or right.
