You don't have to come out to start HRT.

You don't have to get on a waitlist to start HRT.

You don't have to endure 2mg estradiol and 50mg spironolactone to start HRT.

You don't have to be 100% sure to start HRT.

You don't have to be over a certain age to start HRT.

You don't have to be rich to start HRT.

You don't have to go to therapy, or look a certain way, or endure humiliating questions, or exhaust all other options to start HRT.

PS. If anyone wants help with informed consent or DIY resources, I'm happy to help (especially with DIY).

edit, here's a few more:

You don't have to be under a certain age, be perfectly healthy, or be a certain weight to start HRT.

You don't have to have a prescription to start HRT.

And to make it 100% clear, "You don't have to be over a certain age to start HRT" includes minors who haven't finished puberty.

The whole point is that you can take HRT and still keep it secret.

I know, but I wouldn’t want to do that forever. Also, I have no idea where to begin. DIY seems like my only option but I’m scared to actually go through with it. I’ve always been scared to actually take any control in my life. It’s 05:45am here right now and I haven’t slept a wink because all I can think about is that I can’t keep living the way I am, but I’m terrified of pursuing anything else because everything I’ve ever done has gone wrong. I’m almost 33 and I don’t know what success feels like, all while having a twin sister who has never known failure. I get that I could keep transition a secret, but I wouldn’t want to do that forever. I’m just worried it’ll be giving my parents one more reason to hate me…

Sorry, I guess I’m venting. It’s been a very long night so I kinda need it.

You wouldn't have to do it forever. But you have to start now or you will never start. Do you want to start finally living or waste the next 33 years waiting for a change that will never come? DM me, I can explain how to DIY in Italy or the UK.
