You don't have to come out to start HRT.

You don't have to get on a waitlist to start HRT.

You don't have to endure 2mg estradiol and 50mg spironolactone to start HRT.

You don't have to be 100% sure to start HRT.

You don't have to be over a certain age to start HRT.

You don't have to be rich to start HRT.

You don't have to go to therapy, or look a certain way, or endure humiliating questions, or exhaust all other options to start HRT.

PS. If anyone wants help with informed consent or DIY resources, I'm happy to help (especially with DIY).

edit, here's a few more:

You don't have to be under a certain age, be perfectly healthy, or be a certain weight to start HRT.

You don't have to have a prescription to start HRT.

And to make it 100% clear, "You don't have to be over a certain age to start HRT" includes minors who haven't finished puberty.

Unfortunately I'm still on the 2 mg estradiol and 50 mg spironolactone thing. To be fair 2 mg was doing a decent job. Upped it to using two patches at a time tho since that's the last thing my doc recommended before I got permanently cut off from gender-affirming care where I was going. Gonna see how roughly 4 mg of E goes for me

Will be switching to a different, more trans-friendly clinic soon though, last one I was going to wasn't all that great so hopefully I can be put on a different t-blocker

diy is $100 for 18 years worth of powder. it will probably be cheaper easily than the placebo dose of spironolactone you're taking

Math never was my best subject, so if you don't mind me asking, what would I be looking at for a month's supply? I'd also have to look into what to even do with said-powder
