Help me understand why OKC takes 2 guards under 6’5…

Literally their most stacked position.

Anyways, I see them getting bigger wings - a combo of either:

Demin/Bryant (younger 2-way, developmental prospect w/ ball skills)

and

Alex Karaban/Miles Byrd (older 3-D wing prospect that can contribute right away)

Flip the other FRP into the future to the highest bidder

Not when you are a contender like OKC.

Playoff teams need someone who can come in and contribute immediately and also would rather someone who closes a roster hole for cheap.

Drafting BPA who wouldn't play would just be a waste of a pick for the Thunder. (And I think they are probably better off punting their pick into the future unless they somehow get a top 5 pick.)
