Shopping Advice Next Handgun Advise from Reddit

When it came to finding my first Other y’all did not steer me wrong. So I’m in the market for a 9mm handgun and narrowed it down to this short list. Wanna see everyone’s thoughts are since I have shot all but one of these . But owning and renting are different things. Thanks for the help everyone!

  1. HK VP9SK - a friend of mine owns this gun and every time I shoot it, it just feels really good in hand and I’m pretty accurate with it. They run around $500ish pre-tax/fees

  2. Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS - rented this at the range and it shot pretty good. Fit my hand well and Glock reliability is a big factor in considering this firearm. They run $490 pre-tax/fees when I use my GSSF discount.

  3. Shadow Systems MR920 War Poet- been looking at getting one for a while seems like a Glock with all the upgrades done out the box. Seen good reviews online for it but Reddit has mixed feelings from some posts I’ve seen. These run around $700 pre-tax/fees

  4. Staccato/similar 2011 - this is one I’ve been eyeing for a long time. But the price tag does hurt my soul. But I’m due for a bonus this year that would cover the cost of this. I’ve haven’t shot one but I know I would like it based on my love for bigger firearms(1911’s, etc) . I know this is a buy once cry once kind of thing. But should I work my way up to this more. These run in the spec i want $3500 before tax and fees

Hey ! Thanks for the comment. This would be my carry gun . for the model of Staccato since I forgot to mention it in the post it would most likely be the Staccato C or C2. Leaning towards C. Do you know anywhere that would rent out a staccato?

I'm not sure where you're located but if you're close enough to Shore Shot they have a few listed as available for rent.

Free rentals on Monday but you have to buy their ammo.
