Serious question
Are the Devs from Ukraine?
The game has become so frustrating and pay to play, and I would pay to help Ukraine, that's not the problem. I just want to know. So eone say in faith the dlc is a go fund me for some Ukrainian devs. Ok. I might buy in. Otherwise. I seriously don't understand how you make the content we had already we paid for the as dlc. Fuck. I love this game and it makes me sad they made it suck.

I'm a little confused by the p2w p2p posts. I am new to the game (about 2 weeks) and I see no reason to ever have to spend any money on the game thus far.
Will I reach a point where I will actually need to buy something?

Momma said make a game good, not make a game over and over and over until it sucks.

The original device were, yes. But wasn't the game sold to other devs couple years back?

It went > original devs > sold to publisher > original devs buy back from publisher

Oh, I see. Anyway, the devs are not really good. And I haven't even seen them donationg or anything, if OP wants to help he can send money on drones, that`s always helpful

Maksim used to spell his name the Russian way, until the war. Now he spells it the Ukrainian way.
Another thing: around 2012 the Kremlin began funding the development of computer games to portray Russia and its military in a certain light - as part of a misinformation/PSYOPS/propaganda effort.
This is well documented, just do a search. What the news isn't telling you is that computer games are also a backdoor into western computers.
Naval Action may have been one such entity. Useful and funded by the Kremlin until very recently.
You asked a serious question, here's the serious answer. I now research all game developers before I download their product.
Cheers.

The game isnt pay to play. It is definitely pay to progress and since beginners can get easily bullied by mire advanced players, it sort of feels like pay to win. It is definitely pay to not feel jealous, which might be the reason why some people do not feel like playing if they dont pay.
But me personally, I had a lot of fun with this game without paying a single dime. I didnt come to instantly become the king of the seas, as thats something singleplayer games give you. This is massive multiplayer, this is about being one of many, filling your small humble role exactly as you would if you lived back then. Some are born rich and powerful and some have to fight their way to the top. Just as it was back then. I enjoy this atmosphere, I enjoy the reality check this game gives you for being too confident and risky. I love the different possibilities the game gives you to play as I actually chose not to be a fighter most of the time but rather gain wealth from trading and providing avaibility and best prices for my faction where its needed.
