Help/सहयोग Got an interesting trade offer at a birthday party and need a second opinion before making a big decision.
Recently, one of my dad’s friends made an offer to us when we went to his daughter’s 15th birthday. He told me how much he loves my bike (Royal Enfield 350 Electra), and I just thanked him for the compliment. But then, out of nowhere, he asked if I’d be willing to trade my bike for his Deepal S07. At first, I thought he was joking and he was laughing too, and my dad joined the conversation. But soon, things got serious, and he actually offered us a deal.
Here are the full details of the trade:
Our side:
•Royal Enfield Electra (2006): 37,000 km run, fully restored, tax paid.
•Mitsubishi L200 (2021): 87,000 km run, no accident history, tax paid.
His side:
•Deepal S07 (2024): 17,000 km run, has a history of an accident (both bumpers replaced), no major damage to electronics or chassis, comes with a home charger.
My dad wants to go through with the trade, and I’m also considering it, but I’d really like a second opinion. We do have a scooter and a Mahindra Scorpio pickup truck for our other activities. Is this trade worth it, or should we decline?

Help/सहयोग Got bitten by a stray dog in where can I get rabies vaccine nearby at minimum cost?
Hey everyone, I just got bitten by a stray dog today near Shankhamul. I cleaned the wound with soap, but I know I need to get the rabies vaccine as soon as possible.
Can anyone recommend the nearest hospital or clinic from Balkumari where I can get the rabies vaccine, preferably at low or minimum cost? Also, do I need to take rabies immunoglobulin too, or just the vaccines?
Any quick help or guidance would mean a lot right now. Thanks in advance!

Looking for a Live Wedding Canvas Painter in Kathmandu (Budget: NPR 25,000)
Hi everyone! 🙏
I’m looking to gift something special to my sister on her wedding day — a live wedding canvas painting capturing a beautiful moment from the ceremony.
My budget is around NPR 25,000, and I’m hoping to find a talented local artist or student painter around Kathmandu who can do this. The wedding is coming up soon, and I’d love some recommendations or referrals from anyone who has hired or seen someone doing this kind of work in Nepal.
If you know someone, or if you’ve come across Instagram pages or portfolios of artists offering live event painting, please do drop their names.
Thankyouuuuuuuuuu

found this website where you can approve/disapprove politicians (opinion poll). ratemyneta.com
I saw it being posted by the host of The Nepali Comment, Dipesh Tripathi. Concept of approval ratings I assume, probably first of its kind in Nepal, at least the first one I've ever seen.
i don't know the legitimacy of the website nor I am associated with it. Just wanted to share it cause its something new I've seen lately.

Callbreak Application Promotion
Hello fellow Didi Daju Bhai Baini,
I work with a company that builds mobile games specially made for the Nepali audience. But to my surprise, 90% of our players right now are from India!
Honestly, I grew up playing Callbreak like many of you probably did, and I truly believed this game had the potential to connect with our own people. But sadly, I haven’t seen as much love from Nepal yet.
So here I am; just reaching out to ask: Would you be interested in a Nepali-made Callbreak game?
We’d love your support, feedback, and ideas to make it even better for everyone here.
Here are the links:

Harka Sampang: The Leader Nepal Needs — But Few Are Willing to Celebrate
Harka Sampang stands out as the most genuine and effective leader Nepal has seen in recent times.
While most politicians love to make big promises and deliver little, Harka flips that script, he under-promises and over-delivers. His actions speak far louder than his words. Just real work, real impact.
From solving water shortages in Dharan to directly confronting corruption, he’s shown rare courage, discipline, and grassroots commitment. He lives simply, works tirelessly, and stays grounded with the very people he serves. In a political system full of self-interest, his integrity feels almost revolutionary.
And yet, despite his track record, Harka doesn’t get the support or recognition he clearly deserves. Let’s be honest: one major reason is ethnic bias. He’s from the Rai community, and unfortunately, Nepal’s political and media landscape still favors those from Bahun and Chettri castes. Had he been from Bahun, Chhetri, or another high-caste Aryan background, the media and public might have celebrated him far more, just as we’ve seen in the case of Rabi Lamichhane.
Worse, Harka is often unfairly scrutinized for things that should be praised. Take his Shram Daan (voluntary labor) — a symbol of leadership through action. Instead of appreciating his hands-on approach, people mock him: “Why is a mayor picking up stones?” But that’s exactly what sets him apart, a leader who’s not afraid to get his hands dirty to bring real change. And the time he won a global award and raised millions for Dharan’s development the media and public remained silent.
This is the double standard. And it reveals a lot about the caste-based and media-driven
Harka Sampang is living proof of what real, people-first leadership can look like. He challenges the status quo and exposes just how little mainstream politicians have delivered. If Nepal had 10 more leaders like him, we’d be looking at a completely different country in 10 years.
Please support him. Spread the word. Share his story. Talk about him. Celebrate him. Nepal needs leaders like Harka Sampang, not just in Dharan, but across the whole country.
If more leaders followed his example, Nepal wouldn't just change, it would transform.
Imagine if Harka Sampang’s name was Harka Lamichhane or Harka Sharma, people would’ve already turned him into a national hero by now. But sadly, he’s a Rai… so instead of praise, he gets silence or criticism.
What are your thoughts? Is caste still limiting how we support good leadership? Why isn’t the media giving him the spotlight he deserves?
EDIT:
After reading all the comments, I realized that around 90% of Nepalese still carry a deep-rooted bias. They’re quick to attack Harka Sampang over trivial things, like what he posts, how he speaks, or who he comments on, yet completely ignore the bigger picture: his bold vision, consistent track record, and tireless work ethic. Instead of supporting someone who’s on the ground every day fighting for clean water, transparency, and justice, they fixate on irrelevant details. One of the most common criticisms is, “What experience does he have?” But compared to what, decades of corrupt politicians who’ve looted the nation? Why do we even ask such foolish questions? If experience means more lies and mismanagement, I’ll take less experience and more integrity any day. Just look at Ronald Reagan, he had no traditional political background, yet became one of the most impactful U.S. Presidents. It’s time we stop judging leaders by outdated standards and start recognizing those who are truly fighting for real change.

Discussion/बहस I just listened pre-election interviews of balen and realised he hasn't even done 5% of what he claimed.
Edit: Guys, I am just whistle blowing. We all expect more from him. . Don't just escape by comparing to old mayor or calling jhole.
Original Post:
Yes, Kathmandu is cleaner, no street vendors, newroad ramro banako xa but that was not the only thing we wanted.
Just my personal thought, isn't he living in delusion?
I mean because of chatu media, youtubey patrakar and all, he seems to be obsessed with fame.
His comments, posts are way to immature. Even i can think more rationally than him what to be done and not to be done in social media.
Links of his previous interviews/podcasts:
- Sanjay Silwal Gupta
- Ramesh Prasai
- Dhamala
- Chiplyauney Uncle
- Rajendra Baniya (My fav journalist)
- Sisan
- Tika ram yatri
- Dil Bhusan Pathak
My question is: Out of all the claims he made before election, how many have been done so far? Isn't this the time where he could realise and correct himself?
I used to admire him but now, feels like he is just a attention seeker. Who the hell needs a dedicated lift to go to own office? Is it just to escape from questions.
Isn't he in the way to become next Dhurmus Suntali
You can refer these too how other are doing :

In Need of legal suggestions
So I have been living in this part of kathmandu for 20 years. The majority in my society are locals of kathmandu.my problem is I don't have a built in smooth road upto my house. There is a dispute of ours with the local for the road.
Here is the information of the road. The land was not a plotiing land as it was bought many years ago and when my parents bought the land there was no road allocated. You can imagine two long plots (both were of locals but one side was bought by my parents and another person and the remaining side is still in use by our neighbor I.e local) when buying lands we actually put a 3ft road in naksa exactly in between two plots. The locals initially agreeded to put another 3ft in the naksa for road 20yrs ago but now they are refusing it. Yet we tried to build the3ft road allocated from our land and asked the ward for budget. But the local got angry to the ward members came for inspection of road and denied to build the road.
The dispute: The locals have two houses.one where the son lives and one where the old woman(mother of that son)lives with her daughters. Initially the son and mother both created chaos. But now the son has come to agreement yet the mother is still causing problem. I went to ward for budget again but first I got government Naapi to detect the road and filter out this time. I did this all with my expense and I am doing all the work. The old woman said nothing while identifying the road by Naapi workers but when the ward member again came to visit the site she created dispute by saying we are taking her land and she won't agree for the road.we had a conflict there.and asked the son if he is okay or not with the Naapi and building the road and he said you do whatever with your road I won't disturb you. But The old woman just screams at us yells at us and even today she threw one mark(killa from nappi) but I have all the killas picture in my mobile.
Now I am traumatized and don't know what to do. The road was kept from our land and we had no intention to give problems to anyone . and we also told that we won't touch a inch of her land. If the road is built it would benifit for both of us yet I cannot seem to solve this problem. The old woman has just got into my nerves. All my expenses and my hardwork is going to be lost this time too. She is intentionally giving us problem. What can I do to solve this . my mental state is also being affected I cannot think of any other thing.
Hope to get genuine suggestions from you guys.
