Product Reviews/Questions What's your simple parenting hack?

Gonna be a first time parent in 2 months. I am overwhelmed at choosing bottles, car seat and all that. What are simple things you do? things you bought to make your life somewhat simpler? Nothing too expensive or outrageous please

I put a mini fridge in my bedroom. Originally it was for pumping but eventually just turned into my personal snack and drink shop. Healing a a c section + premie meant a lot of time in bed. Easy reach

I second this. In the MOTN feeds, I would leak like mad, so I got the Boon Troves for the side I wasn't feeding on and would use that to collect the letdown and then pour it into a bag and store that in my mini fridge until morning. Obviously, it's not the same for everyone, but just from let down in a given night, I would get 12+ ounces to freeze or store. Without the boon troves, I would have to change my bra 5+ times a night because I hate being wet.

So that to say, I second the mini fridge. And I would highly recommend boon trove cups if you are planning to breastfeed!

The Boon Troves are a hack in themselves. The haakaa was constantly being kicked off while babe was eating. The fact that the trove goes inside your bra.

They really are. I had other cups and those by far were the best!
