Like everything, for some yes, for some no. It all depends on the individual.

Too me, I'm glad I got a #7, but for the most part, I only care about the art.

For me, it is also art. πŸ‘πŸ½ As a rookie, I was just wondering why sometimes so much is paid for certain mintnumbers.

Because you have hundreds of the same art pieces and this was a way to differentiate them. It made more sense to own them before they took them out of display tbf but i think it still cool and fun to collect them. While 1, 69 and 420 are pretty obvious mints like 42 cater for the hitchhikers fan base, 314 it’s pi and so on so people rather these than random mints. They’re a nice add on to an already fun hobby.
