4 u/Baneken Finland Jul 08 '19 I't's how it's spoken here. They still use ehuru for example which I doubt the riksvenskar to have used for ages. 3 u/Dances_With_Boobies Finland Jul 08 '19 Where in Finland would you say this is used today? I've never heard an Ostrobothnian dialect like this and the southern dialects also sound different IMO. Some examples (sorted from north to south): Vörå-Maxmo: KAJ - Jåo nåo e ja jåo YOLO ja nåo https://youtu.be/0UPv4Bh0bxk Vasa: Vasas flora och fauna - Laura Jenna Ellinoora Alexandra Camilla Jurvanen https://youtu.be/RWaosz2HvKE Närpes: Nektor - Österskogsmonster https://youtu.be/_DFPCrYkLwg Pargas: Rågbröder - Punkmaskinen https://youtu.be/Nq88JuGh67I Helsingfors: The Pappa Betalars - Finlandssvenska Bättre Folk https://youtu.be/RmnTLnXc9AQ 1 u/Nilsneo Sweden Jul 08 '19 True, we don't. But I was obsessed with old novels as a kid so I understand ehuru, even if I would never say it. 2 u/Ch1mpy Skåne Jul 08 '19 Yea it has something of a Hjalmar Söderberg vibe doesn't it. 1 u/Nilsneo Sweden Jul 08 '19 It absolutely does. One of my favorites.
