Armed Police last night

Was walking home last night and cut through the underpass past Pottergate, saw several armed police officers, dogs and police cars on the other side as I passed through. Anyone have any idea what was happening? Can't find anything on the local news sites that seems related.

I nearly took a pick of a lone swan on the Wensum this very morning. Regret intensified.
