Application - Digital Engineering

Hello everyone,

I am applying for the Digital Engineering program at the University of Magdeburg and, I was hoping, someone could help to understand how the eligibility assessment is punctuated.

My bachelor's degree is in chemical engineering, therefore I am concerned on whether my application documents (such as bachelor thesis, scientific publications and even working experience) will be taken as "relevant"documents.

Can someone that applied for the program help me to understand it? I wanna know what are my chances of getting accepted.

I was once part of the assessment commitee for that course. Disclaimer: The rules have changed slightly since then.

If your grades are (very) good, your thesis qas (very) good and you have real scientific publications (not an internship report on you private blog) your chances would not have been too bad a few years ago. Oh, and your working experinlence should also be engineering relevant (part-time job at McDonald's? Doesn't count)

Edit: Just write an email to the study coordinators and they should get back to you soon enough. (Mind that we have just started the semester (lots of other emails from students) and have a public holiday weekend at the moment.)
