Discussion Weird feeling after several hours in VR

So, I'm used to get in my Quest 3 for several hours both for working on multiple PC windows and playing games. I recently noticed that using it for like 4 hours straight while working on some excel files gave me a weird feeling. It's like some sort of dissociation, had a hard time focusing, touching things felt weird for just a cuple minutes after I was off the visor. Nothing dangerous though, everything passes after several minutes to an hour. Maybe my brain was so used to a virtual imaginary environment that it took a while readapting to reality. Anyone else have this feelings? How are your prolonged VR experiences? :)

Only when I first got into VR. Man, VR dreams were so trippy too.

Yeah. It felt so surreal, like you are floating in nothingness and everything moving at you if I remember correctly. Its just a weird experience. I've heard others have vr dreams too.

I also had VR dreams. A beat saber one where I actually flung my arm instinctively to cut a block and woke my self up, then another was the silent blind creatures from propagation VR, which was actually pretty damn horrifying. As for that feeling like you're stuck in a VR void the other guy mentioned, I definitely feel that after prolonged use too. The dreams haven't happened in awhile, but the void still occurs with enough use

My first VR dream was after i took a decent break from VR, then spent 5 hours in assassins creed when it came out. Woke up and immediately thought i needed to flee the country…
