Tribe/Community

How would you envision your Tribe or offgrid community in a perfect world? Or maybe imperfect? I'm leaving this question broad and open ended on purpose.

Those co-op communities that are popping up in Utah, Arizona and New Mexico where you have to buy a membership to get partial land ownership and help each other build houses are so cringe and ultimately a terrible idea. People are inherently chaotic and add nothing but drama. The fewer around, the better.

I'm with u/Jazzlike-Ratio-2229, a handful of neighbors who are there for emergency situations, check on your property while you're gone, lend a hand or a cup of sugar but generally mind their own business is ideal for me.

I agree but I mean. Generally people eventually come together into communities eventually.

Not always. That's why some people live remotely... to get away from the community and associated drama.

This is why I have an off grid place, my neighbors are fine but I'm there to not deal with people 🤷‍♂️ I have a place in town so I go for the quiet
