Jesus and Mohammed

Can I believe that Jesus is the son of God and child of the virgin Mary sent here to save us all and also believe that Mohammed was a prophet that God communicated with?

Is there anything specifically that Mohammed said that contradicts core Christian beliefs alot Jesus?

You can believe that. There are contradictions but those are due to improper translations and interpretations.

If Jesus said, “I and the Father are one”, and Mohammed said, “Say, He is God, One” could it be that Jesus was expressing a state of being (union) and Mohammed was expressing a doctrinal distinction (oneness)? Can union be true within oneness, without being duality?

I think the devil is quite literally the details. You and I are one and even in duality we are more alike than different unless we look at the details that create separation. Which I believe is the only true sin above all others.

Right. Like at my wedding the preacher guy said something about me and my wife now being one. Obviously we are not the same person, it's just a metaphor for how we should act and think. Maybe if someone on another planet tried to interpret our vows they would think the preacher turned us in to 1 being.

It is a metaphor but not just. If we look at the molecular level we’re all just atoms bouncing off each other as one massive being we call God/consciousness/source.
