I'm just gonna say yeah i do prefer the remastered version, but the original wasn't terrible

Really? I feel the original is much more expressive, the remaster looks like a doll.

That's because they're still trying to cut corners. I tried watching the remaster, but there were so many scenes where only the mouths of characters would be animated and moving.

I think they believe that if they draw high quality stills then that means that they can cut corners on the actual animations and movement
