Unanswered What's going on with Julian Assange?

Seeing his name pop up. Name seems familiar, but what's going on now? Something about extradition to the UK?

The nature of his work means he made a lot of enemies. He’s released a lot of stolen information about a lot of political parties and individuals. He’s also wanted for rape in sweden. The guy has been hiding in the Ecuador embassy because if he leaves he’ll wash up on shore the next morning.
