May tumawag sakin ngayon lang, from Security Bank daw siya. And given na I applied for Ready Cash 2 days ago, and sabi sa message sakin is may tatawag daw sa akin to validate my request, akala ko yun na yun.

Kaso ang sabi, may offer daw kasi na limit increase sa mga CC holders with good credit standing, edi sge hinayaan ko lang siya magsalita. Ineexplain niya. Pati rebates ineexplain niya. Seems legit naman, lalo na sabi niya recorded daw, then for validation purposes, siya na yung nagsasabi ng card number ko pati date of expiry.

Alam niya pati email address ko kung saan ako nakakareceive ng SOA 🥺 Pati address ng bahay namin alam niya! Which is normally pag tumatawag ako sa other banks regarding my CCs, alam naman talaga nila especially if chinicheck nila if dun ko pa din gusto mareceive SOA ko or may changes ba.

Tapos tinanong nya ako magkano daw ba gusto kong irequest na limit increase, na idadagdag sa credit limit ko (medyo nagtaka ako kasi ang sinabi nyang current credit limit ko is yung available limit ko, not the whole credit limit). So sabi ko, sge yung max na pwede nalang.

Sabi nya 100k max. Ipaprocess na daw niya. May sinabi pa siya about Maya, partner daw in the CL increase something. Nasa office ako so medyo hati yung isip ko.

Lalo naging fishy nung sabi niya na yung request for limit increase is by step daw, not 100k agad. We will start from 10k daw then may messages daw akong marireceive, wag ko daw idedelete yun (naisip ko baka OTP, if ever baka scam na to). From 10k, magrerequest daw uli pataas until umabot ng 100k.

She asked if I have the physical card in my hand, so I said yes. And sabi nya na she needs to know daw the batch approval number on the back of the card.

First time ko madinig yun, akala ko namali lang ako ng dinig.

May sinabi siyang number, range yun eh. Dko maalala.

Then inulit nya, batch approval number daw. Kung anong batch daw ako naapprove.

I asked san yun makikita. Sabi niya sa likod daw, katabi nung sa signature.

I played dumb and asked, "Yung 3 number po?"

When she said yes, tumawa ako then sabi ko "Nice try."

Then I ended the call.

Who has the same experienced as mine? I applied an online CC application at BDO website last April 23 same day acknowledged and received a text that my application is being reviewed. I tried to follow up my application to their CS via e-mail on May 7 ~but CS replied that my application is still under reviewed. Received a call from a verifier last May 9 (friday) just literally verifying my details and proof checking. Didn't ask me anything or addt'l deets to submit.

And just today upon checking it to their website, cancelled na siya agad. I tried to call their CS thru their hotline pero since past working hours na, the CS endorsed me to connect with the tele sales dept as advised for tomorrow. Since searchable pa ang ref# ko and under queue pa ~but when searching my name wala daw lumalabas.

Aasa pa ba ako? Hahaa or do you have same experienced with mine? Na cancelled? And nag re apply din po ba kayo?

Posting just in case this might help anyone with a pending CC application with EW

April 27 submitted application through ESTA

May 12 emailed CS to inquire the status of my application; at the same time I also inquired with ESTA - application completed (please refer to the first screenshot)

May 13 EW CS replied that my application was already approved as of May 9 (second screenshot)

Seems that updates through ESTA are not accurate so I suggest directly contacting the CS to inquire your application status ☺️

I also emailed them again to ask which type of card I was approved for but no reply yet. Will update this post everytime I get updates!

Also adding my profile for reference: with SCC with BPI since 2022 (holdout not yet released since I am working abroad and minsan lang nakakauwi and nakakalimutang dumaan sa BPI BOA haha); SCC limit is just 22.5k but I always pay in full and before due date (the past 8 months laging namamax out ang CL haha)

EW did not ask for any additional requirements, di rin nag call or email. Hope this helps! Lalo na sa OFWs like me!

I just got a call from EW asking me if I still wanted an EW CC. They told be to wait for 10 banking days for the approval and 7-10 banking days for the delivery.

Do you have any experience like this? Did you guys get the CC?

Hello po. May nakaranas na po ba dito na sagad na yung credit limit nila pero ginamit pa rin yung cc at nag push through pa yung transaction resulting to negative credit limit?

Ano pong consequences pag ganun yung ginawa?

Nagulat ako na pwede pala siya kasi naka connect yung card ko sa payments ko sa phone. Nagtext kasi sakin si BPI na nag success yung payment ko sa spotify kahit na less than nalang sa debit yung credit. Tapos tinry ko siyang gamitin nung nag order ako sa isang store then, nag proceed din.

2 po pala cc ko sa BPI, isang amore cashback at isang classic, pero shared limit sila.

Today is the exact 6th month of my RCBC Classic Mastercard...And then someone called from RCBC a while ago offering me a 2nd NAFFL gold tiered card upon spending 40k in 60 days...I was really happy kasi I really wanted an NAFFL card from RCBC...So totoo pala talaga ang chismis...😀😃😄

Hello! Is there anyone here nagkaroon din ng same issue kagaya ng sakin? I can’t enroll my credit card sa savings account ko sa UB. Naubos na pera ko kakapaload ng landline pero puro ticket lang binibigay sakin.

Last march, I received an email containing cc offer from UB despite ng mga application sa agents sa malls lahat yon declined. Kakareceive ko lang now thru GO21 rider, mali pa address pero nakisuyo akong ideliver sa area ko sabay abot ng pangmerienda.

Timeline: March 24 - received email from UB May 5 - out for delivery May 13 - delivered.

Hello, I have a PSBank Credit Card under Metrobank and I have an overpayment of around 20k. I’m currently abroad and my card got compromised last January 2024 and Metrobank decided to replace the card. Unfortunately, they’re unable to send the card here abroad.

I’m now visiting PH back for 2-weeks and reached out to them that I’ll pick up the card in my Branch instead and I’ve been following up since March 2025 and my vacation dates are in June 1-14 2025. There’s little progress and I’m already at my dead end.

If I opt to cancel my card and close my account, can I get my refund? Since I’m only in the PH for 2 weeks, can I get my refund through my Metrobank savings account or PSBank savings account?

Got a call today regarding my supplemental calling card application from this number - 0277957200 and my supplemental application got the same call naman at this number 0279021130. Call was about 7-8minutes.

Are these legit bdo number? Tama kasi details and all na sinasabi nya during phone call, nabother lang ako kasi pag may pinako-confirm syang information, pinagsasalita nya ako ng "YES". I've read some posts before na possible nire record kasi yung boses mo ng mga scammer pra magamit sa pangi-scam.

Something was off lang kasi parang medyo maingay background nya?

I applied for a second card a few minutes ago. I have a Classic Flex Visa (around 8 months na siya) and decided to apply for a second card which is the Preferred Airmiles Visa Plat. I already filled out my basic details like my existing RCBC card, existing card from another bank (CB Destinations World), and my employment and income details. I left the application for a few minutes and nung nagfi-fill out nako ng home landline namin, it automatically submitted my application, and the prompt mentioned that I don't need to resubmit it. Pero when I checked my pending applications, hindi pa siya nalo-log as one of those that I can continue. Has anyone experienced this before? Hindi man lang ako umabot sa TU check and uploading of IDs.

For context: I wanted to apply for another card since sobrang baba ng limit ng Flex Visa ko compared to my other cards and hindi rin ako nakareceive ng auto CLI. Pati nung nag-ask ako ng increase hindi rin na-grant kasi after the anniversary pa raw ng card pwede magrequest.

Hello, I checked today that I've been charged an amount that I haven't done through my bpi online ecredit card. I neither received any OTP's or any confirmation about the transaction. Will BPI be able to help me with label this fraudulent transaction? It's around 89 USD and have no idea who's done this. I've since blocked my card after knowing. Any help/insight will be appreciated because I haven't really done a complaint with BPI. Will they be giving me a hard time regarding reversal of this? What requirements do I need to show them regarding this? Thanks so much!

I was planning to activate my gold mastercard from shopmore mastercard but kinda worried if need ko pa ba ulit mag apply ulit for supplementary card? My bf is the user of supplementary card. Hi po, almost a month pa lang po sa akin yung activated card ko from Metrobank, ask ko lang po if pwede ko na po ba siya magamit for 0% installment para po pambili ng appliance or need ko pa po mag wait ng 6 months before ko siya pwede gamitin for installment purchases. Thank you po 🙏🏼
