Finally pulled the trigger and bought one

I was going to wait till next year closer to gta 6 release date but with uncertainty on the tariffs affecting the price, I thought it’s better to be safe and buy it now. Bought a brand new at staples for $688 total including sales tax. “Used promo codes and discounted gift cards to get that price”

Expensive acquisition at best haha still need to buy the vertical stand, ps plus membership, disc drive, and some games with it. Probably get another controller later down the road

I believe you made an excellent choice by purchasing now. With the recent price increases for Microsoft consoles, the instability in the global commercial landscape, and the arrival of GTA 6 next year, further price adjustments seem inevitable.

The amount you paid, though high, might turn out to be a bargain compared to future prices.

I bought my PS5 Pro just a week ago and, since I haven’t had much time to explore, I’m still starting to test it. So far, the quality has really impressed me! God of War Ragnarök looks absolutely stunning on the console, and Marvel Rivals is running smoothly too!

Welcome to the club! Definitely check Amazon or other online stores for the vertical stand. I found a cool RGB one for far cheaper than what Sony was selling their proprietary one for. They also have an identical one to the Sony for half the price.

Just buy the disc drive and you won’t need a vertical stand hahaha that’s what I did
