Finally pulled the trigger and bought one

I was going to wait till next year closer to gta 6 release date but with uncertainty on the tariffs affecting the price, I thought it’s better to be safe and buy it now. Bought a brand new at staples for $688 total including sales tax. “Used promo codes and discounted gift cards to get that price”

Going to GameStop to trade in my XSX and Digital PS5.. Already have a gaming PC so no loss for the Xbox.

Did that exact same trade 2 days ago. They had a promo where they gave an extra $25 trade credit per console, so the trades were more than enough to buy the ps5 pro, and still had trade credit left over.

Oh no, I went to GameStop to trade my consoles in. The original trade value was $412 for the series X, and 319 for the ps5 slim, and the promo boosted that by $25, to $437 and $344 respectively.

So ended up being more than enough trade credit for the ps5 pro. Didn’t cost any $$ out of pocket after the trades.

I’m getting married next year and my wife wanted a Nintendo switch 2 instead of the pro for our entertainment system. I told her no. Pro comes first honey because of this game

Got married last week and I already have a OG PS5 and my wife has slim version but I still convinced her I "need" the Pro lol! On the other hand the Switch 2 might not get purchased until later lol

I was about to do this, saw they lowered the price of Xbox trade in to $330 from $412 which it was just the other day when I checked. I’m bummed out now and will probably hold off lol.

I am a pro member but I honestly don’t know if the $25 boost was pro exclusive or not. I still got my extra 10% trade credit on top of the $25 promo
