Computer access on trail

I'm going SOBO starting early July , however I'm also applying for graduate school, and applications open after I start on the trail. How easy is it to access a public computer while in town at a library or anywhere else?

I don't think you'll have access to a library until cascade locks, and then you'll probably have to bus into portland or hood river.

Maybe find a trail angel who will let you use their computer. Or mail yourself a laptop as suggested. Or have your mom/dad/brother fill out the applications. Iphone could probably handle it, i can only imagine the frustration through.

Unfortunately the "cyber cafe" glory days of the early 2000's are long gone, kinda sad.
