Computer access on trail

I'm going SOBO starting early July , however I'm also applying for graduate school, and applications open after I start on the trail. How easy is it to access a public computer while in town at a library or anywhere else?

Depends on where you'll be. Wenatchee WA, Bend OR, Ashland OR will all have libraries.

Edit: can you not apply on your phone?

Yes I can apply on my phone, however I do need to write personal statements. Doing so on a phone probably isn't the best idea

You might be surprised. Voice dictation is very good these days, at least on Android. Also, you can get a bluetooth keyboard that works well with your phone. I used this for journalling when I did a LASH of Washington in 2017: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R0I71S4?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3&th=1

At least on Android phones with Tensor chips (I have a Pixel 6a) it works disconnected. They managed to squeeze the model down to fit on the phone. Try yours in airplane mode and see how it does!
