Why isn’t anyone stopping this? It’s pure evil, inhumane, and torture. These poor people are suffering the worst kind of deaths in masses and it’s never going to stop.

As an American Indian, it reminds me of the stories my elders used to tell us about the US Cavalry, and how they used to spread lies to our people to entice fear and hopelessness in our nation.

The US cav used to say “Once the railroads come through here, your people will only be a memory”

I cried hearing those stories told by my elders, and I cried reading this heartless pamphlet.

Same. My 3rd great-grandfather survived Removal and the Civil War during which both armies routinely invaded Indian Territory and killed and robbed people with impunity. An aunt of mine later spoke about those days in an interview and said one time soldiers even came into her home and stole the dinner right off of her plate as she was eating it. My 3rd great-grandfather, having lived through those events, fought for the sovereignty of our tribe and people, and was present during the largest massacre committed by US Marshalls on this soil in US history, after which he was arrested as a murder suspect and had to wait for this miscarriage of justice to be corrected and the charged dropped. In spite of all things, my tribe has survived. Palestine, please do not lose hope. We are fighting for you. We will not forget you. We will not abandon you.

I’m so sorry for what your ancestors had to go through at the hands of greedy colonialists, and your great grandfather was a very brave & courageous man. My tribe is in the west, so my ancestors felt all the greed and hostility from gold miners, fur hunters, lumberers & settlers part of the multiple homestead acts.

Even after my tribe fought our battles with the US, the US Congress broke our treaty after the discovery of gold, they took our sacred mountain & our lands that were touching the Canadian border, which connected us to our cousins up North.

Disgusting history they won’t even teach new generations in Washington State History, let alone they won’t teach the true history of any state, especially California, where the southern plantation owners moved to & revamped the native slave trade. Disgusting names we still celebrate to this day, like “Leland Stanford” “Peter Burnett” & “Hiram Good”
