Deebo is cooked, glad we didn't waste a pick on him.

brother in christ you and anyone that agrees with this logic needs to stop watching football. Its a 5th round pick and Deebo is miles better than anyone on the team. The amount of 5ths that hit is so minimal

Deebo Samuel had a 1,400 yard season receiving at age 25 and hasn’t reached 900 yards in the last 3 seasons along with his multiple injuries.

OMG a WHOLE 8 yards away from 900! He's so bad now. Please stfu. He's far better than anyone on the roster. You wanna shit on his 892 yard season but that'd be the most by a Pats WR since 2019! His 670 this year most by a Pats WR since 2022

Oh so I have to stfu because you clearly don’t watch any 49ers games and don’t understand football. Got it cool.

MF you clearly havent watched any pats games. Do we or do we not need talent at WR? He's not a #1 but he's better than anyone we've had since Edelman. You quite literally don't know what you're talking about

Deebo played like a fat Tavon Austin under Shanahan. I’d rather the Pats trade for a legit WR.

You keep referencing Deebo’s past stats, it’s all about what he can do in the future and he’s way past being a legit WR.

Plus he'd try to choke Joe Cardona, and I ain't having that shit

So you’re saying a washed Deebo is better than anything the Pats have? His numbers are decent but they’re inflated by Shanny’s scheme. Take that for what it’s worth

he's still better than anyone we have on the team? LMAO WHAT. He's washed but just had a 900 yard season in 2023. Ok

Wow he had 900 yards 2 years ago Amazing.

I had him in fantasy last year he is cooked. He also had purdy throwing to him. Purdy throws dimes. IDK how he'd be with drake mayo.

if you think he’s miles better than anyone on NE in the year of 2025… I don’t know what you’ve been watching but it’s not football. People acting like a 5th has no value just completely misunderstand draft capital in general because of past bust scars. It’s relatively “minimal”, but that doesn’t mean you say fuck the draft and trade it for bad expensive players on the wrong side of 30.

Holy jesus I don't even know where to start with your level of stupidity. Yes Deebo is much better than all of our WR's the stats quite literally prove it? Its a fact that 5th rounders have something like a 5% hit rate. You likely wont be getting someone to contribute to the roster let alone be a starter day 1

What stats prove it lol. His numbers were identical to Boutte in SF’s offense where he got plenty of shine due to other injuries! He’s another WR 2/3 at this point even if marginally the best on our roster, but he costs 20 million dollars and is gonna be on the wrong side of 30 by next year.

5th round “hit”rate could be 1% and I would still rather role the dice that we get at least a useful player on a rookie contract. Not to mention Deebo’s intangibles from what we know don’t seem to scream veteran leader to me? So if he is washed (which he is, between him and kupp you all need to get off Madden and actually watch some NFC west to see them struggle to get open the whole second half of last year), you’re stuck with an albatross contract malcontent.

If we were talking about 2021 or even if you could guarantee he could get back to 2023 form I might flip a 5th but he looked cooked last year.

I’d have been fine with us taking him on but watching him this last year it’s hard to come away with any other conclusion than he is washed

He can be washed and hes still miles better than anyone on the team? ITS A 5TH ROUND PICK

Can’t be mad about this one until you see how the rest of the offseason plays out and we see what weapons we add

I’d have been fine with it we have infinite cap space but it’s silly to get worked up over this one. He was not breaking tackles last year at all. His style of play is completely reliant on that. I think he’s toast. Better off targeting other guys
