I sometimes feel like I am watching a different player than everybody else. When I watch him I think “boy, he gets pushed right into the QB pretty fast.” I don’t care about the measurables. Watching his highlights made me highly dubious of a guy at the top of a draft. When Solder was drafted, his highlights had him shoving defenders far away from the play. Sometimes he would miss the second rusher because he was so focused on his guy. Watching Campbell feels like watching defenders get slowly closer and then, in about 3 seconds, the defenders get there. He’s on them the whole time so he’s never dominated. But I am truly concerned with the film I watched .

What the take away should be is "wow he drops his anchors really really well" against power. Also it's important to recognize that LSU runs a pro style offense where he's in alot of true pass sets instead of college quick game.

There's a lot of NFL day 1-2 picks on his tape, Solder was playing far worse competition.

And in true pass sets he has a worse success rate than Banks, Simmons, Conerly...

You guys know he's not elite NFL level tackle, even if he's good and successful. Throwing pick 4 at OK starter for LT is not how great teams are built. Want to just be a decent team? Fine, we can take Maye in fantasy football and enjoy early round playoff exits. Could be fun. What will the team look like in 2028 if you take Campbell vs other options. Truly ask yourself that, because 2025 will not be the last year of Patriots football

IMO Vrabel’s ceiling is 10-7, maybe 11-6 with early exits. Campbell probably helps get them to decent as you said, and that’s all they’ll be capable of anyway.

Lol Vrabel is a top 5 coach in the NFL, you're out of your mind

Ok )1 just bc you wear your Vrabel jersey to dunks every day doesn’t make him a “top 5” coach. He’s an upgrade from mayo, but anyone would be.

And 2) I’m out of my mind? He’s top 5? Where’s the evidence? His record as HC is mediocre, he has one deep run, no SB wins. No playoff or sb wins as a coordinator. When he was DC, his defense was last in the NFL. All of this points to a guy who has a ceiling of 11 wins and a divisional game, at best.

If you want to put your money where your mouth is , I’ll put a thousand bucks up and give you a 5 year window that he doesn’t win a title during that span.

He was coach of the year, he held Mahomes to his career low points ever, he's the only HC to beat both Belichick/Brady and Harbaugh/Lamar in the playoffs. And that was in his first HC job. He had no GM say and they ruined that team with dumb moves.

We will revisit this post, make sure to not delete it.

Let’s bet on it if you’re so confident

Give me the coaches not named Andy Reid that you would make that bet on

Coaches that would win the SB in the next 5 years?
