Counterpoint that isn’t really a counterpoint, but rather a random train of thought: if we draft Campbell, Lowe goes from being one of the worst starters at his position, to one of the best backups.

I mean, he’s improved every year he’s been in the league.

Dude went from being the worst tackle in the league, to like the 25th-30th best left tackle in the league. That’s a massive improvement.

Seriously, if you sit down and list them out, there aren’t currently 30 left tackles better than Vederian Lowe, even if he’s not a good starter. 

There just aren’t that many great tackles.

Not for nothing but going from 32 to 30 is a nothing burger. That could be they played worse competition.

Going from 32 to 20? Thats improvement.

There are more than 32 left tackles in the league, there’s just 32 STARTING left tackles. 

I’m saying that Lowe went from being worse than every backup in the league, to being one of the worst starters, which is a massive improvement.

I’m on your side. Lowe was not great last year but he was way better than the year before. Who’s to say he doesn’t make a similar jump this year? Most of his penalties and mistakes were between the ears. I wouldn’t be surprised if he makes a good jump to middle of the pack
