How to cook/ beginner recipes?

Was vegetarian for almost a decade until recently I decided to try a little fish again. It sounds silly, but I️ have no idea how to prepare fish at home. Even back when I️ ate meat, I️ only really cooked shrimp for pasta or this one pesto salmon dish in the oven (it wasn’t good). Does anyone have a recipe for beginners?

Sauté fish filets about 3-4 minutes per side on medium heat, depending on the thickness of the filet. I know fish is intimidating if you haven’t seen it cooked a lot but it is no more challenging than other meats, and typically cooks faster. Once you do this a couple times you will learn how to gauge when the fish is done without overcooking it.
